I've always thought of each day as having a specific colour (as does my sister but we disagree on our choices!). The fact that Monday is red has something to do with the letter M - but I don't think about letters in connection to the other days. I'm slightly aware of a vague pattern, though, that's something to do with consonants being definite, 'obvious' colours like red and blue, 'soft' consonants like J and Y being green, and vowels (or, at least, months beginning with vowels) having a yellowy-orange feel. |
