It shows: It is fractal art, I've a passion for physics though I've no math to speak of, the concepts seem relatively clear, fractals are like playing with light, somewhat like I would imagine glass work is but far more flexible. My art is made generally while listening to guitars though other sounds can cause the flow to work, the addiction I have to music is the deepest of all the arts, it is pleasurable in a physical way to release the artistic energy dancing. I'm beginning a project in a couple of months working with live music behind me a single instrument at a time then the four pieces together to see what comes of it. I find it easiest to work from certain music, Satriani, Jeff Beck Malmsteen, Vai, Warren Hayes particularly Gov't Mule, Rush is one of the few bands that I have done pieces from all members work. Ritchie Blackmore, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Jack Semple, Marc Playle, Paul Clarky Clark.
This is what you see: It shows the balance I find in the music, the colours, as close as I can get them without entirely rebuilding spectrums, textures though it is difficult to pull the correct colour and texture into the right shapes as I've not been doing it long enough to make that a predictable outcome yet. Generally the emotional flavour of the piece is represented where I did not have to compromise the balance too much. That's what you see: This is the three pieces from Don't you wander too long in the dark, from Here is What Is Daniel Lanois, a brilliant piece of work btw that should be used in some way in the education system.
What I could not show better: The colours are not as clear as they could be, the shapes are choppier than they should be, it should be more three dimensional in feel, texturally speaking, the closer to cobalt navy blue has a nearly suede texture, the orange has a smooth gloss I can't find a way to get, there is no way to add the emotional impact in the right proportions without changing the colour spectrum, when watermelon and sweet peppers show up there is no way to add that to the mix without adding a scratch and sniff option, this happens seldom anyway.
