This is what I perceive: | At first my back felt like pulsing
white lines when I first heard a popping sound and hurt it on May 17, 2002.
By summer, with treatment, the asymmetrical white lines (more on the left
side) turned into a pale yellow color and by the end of the summer were
straw yellow and the pulsing had slowed. The two times I fell after May
17 the lines became brighter/lighter, but soon returned to straw yellow.
The 3 times Dr. Manasco gave me the back shots the lines briefly turned
to white and then quickly to a hard shiny black color. Within 10 days to
two weeks the colored lines of my back returned to the straw yellow color,
but slightly brown.
In January 2003, my back lines began to change to an orangish color with fuzzy streaks of brown. On February 3 when I fell, my back became instantly a whitish yellow and during the course of the day a glowing shiny orange. Within the week the orange was turning shade of fuzzy/moldy brown, the orange being slowly taken over by the brown. At present my back, as well as part of my left hip are a fuzzy brown color. Initially, the pins and needle sensations in my legs were a translucent pale pale green, turning to a medium then dark blue with the onset of burning sensations. At first it was my left leg that was generally blue, with only the lower right leg being blue on occasion. After February 3, both legs are a deep blue with only tinges of pale green. On occasion my middle toes turn grey. This occurs when there is a total lack of sensation. In general the bright colors and lines associated with "high level pain" are 'dead' and are replaced by a fuzzy brown rotating/morphing globular mass in my lower back and hips (primarily left hip). When my back muscles begin to knot and spasm the brown color gets an uneven dirty color and is slightly prickly (like an unshaven face). My legs are a mottled deep rich blue color (with tinges of green), that seem to pulse and glow. These lower body color changes are associated with a nausea that overwhelms me that is a whitish translucent that becomes so prevalent it overwhelms all of my senses, especially my sight and balance. |
